Telangana BJP MP Plays Hindu Card To Threaten SP!

Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana is trying to put up an aggressive posture in countering the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi and emerge as a strong political alternative in the state.

The BJP leaders are playing every trick, particularly Hindutva card, to intimidate government officers and threatening to get them sacked using their clout with the Centre, ruled by the BJP.

It was evident from the way BJP MP from Nizamabad Dharmapuri Aravind threatened Siddipet police commissioner D Joes Davis, a Christian, on Tuesday.

He said the SP should remember India is a Hindu state and BJP is in power at the Centre.

“You should know your limits while dealing with the BJP leaders,” Aravind warned.

The MP was reacting to the arrest of BJP state president Bandi Sanjay while the latter was coming to Siddipet to participate in the agitation in protest against the seizure of cash in the BJP leader’s house.

“Mr Davis, I remember your name and I will not forget it. Be prepared to face the consequences,” Aravind threatened. “Don’t forget that you fall under Central government guidelines. Don’t act like a goonda, but be like an IPS officer,” he said.

The BJP leaders are demanding that the SP and his subordinates be suspended for manhandling Bandi Sanjay. They took up the issue with Union home minister Amit Shah and minister of state G Kishan Reddy.

Aravind demanded intervention of the Election Commission of Inida in the Dubbak by-elections and deploy central forces besides placing the SP under suspension.
