Munugode by-poll: Revanth feeling insecure?

Munugode by-poll: Revanth feeling insecure?

It might be just a by-election to Munugode assembly seat, but the outcome is likely to create troubles for many leaders in various parties.

But the biggest threat is for Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president A Revanth Reddy.

Apparently realising that there is a bleak chance of Congress candidate Palwai Sravanthi winning the seat, Revanth suspected that is big conspiracy against him personally, rather than Sravanthi.

While Revanth is toiling day and night for the party candidate in Munugode, many other so-called senior leaders are confined to either Gandhi Bhavan or taking excuse in the name of making preparations for Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra.

During his campaign, Revanth also came to know that many of the party leaders are indirectly working for BJP candidate Rajagopal Reddy only because of their personal grudge against him.

He alleged that conspiracies were being hatched by the party leaders to dethrone him from the post, as was evident from the audio tape of Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy’s conversation with a local Congress leader in Munugode.

The TPCC president admitted that he was being cornered and a few leaders from the party were involved in a larger conspiracy of ensuring Congress party’s defeat in the by-election.

“I am being cornered. Plots are being hatched to ensure the party’s defeat and dethrone me from the TPCC president post,” said Revanth Reddy turning emotional.

He was indirectly referring to Komatireddy’s call the Congress leader in Munugode stating that he was going to be the next TPCC president.

Revanth feels that if the party loses Munugode, he would be made the scapegoat, while others, who are hardly campaigning for the party would gun for his head.
