Founder-Chief Executive Officer of popular television channel TV9, V Ravi Prakash, has made a surprising appearance on the screen in the same channel on Thursday evening, putting end to the speculations that he was sacked from the channel and the police are on the lookout for him.
Though he looked a little tense and worried, Ravi Prakash tried to maintain cool and thanked all the other media channels for spreading a series of rumours against him since morning.
He, however, did not go deep into the charges against him, but said even before truth steps out of the house, falsehood goes round the world within seconds.
He expressed confidence that all the charges that are being levelled would be proved wrong.
Ravi Prakash asserted that the issue pertaining to the transfer of management was pending in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and that it would come up for hearing on May 16.
“Ultimately, truth will prevail. The channel has always stood for values and its employees have been toiling day and night to keep it at no. 1 position among the regional channels,” he said.
