TDP-BJP Honeymoon Is Over, Says JC

The honeymoon between the Telugu Desam Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party is over and both the parties are going to part ways very soon.

This was stated by Telugu Desam Party MP from Anantapur J C Diwakar Reddy. “I have told our leader N Chandrababu Naidu last year itself that he should severe ties with the BJP. Now that the Centre has made it clear that there is no question of granting special category status to Andhra Pradesh, the alliance between the two parties will not last long,” he said.

He advised Naidu to have a second thought on continuing alliance with the BJP and take an intelligent decision. “However, whatever decision he takes, I will abide by it. But, I feel there is no place for national parties in the state in the coming years and regional parties will continue to dominate political scene,” JC said.

The maverick MP made yet another sensational comment that Modi has been treating Naidu as a big threat to him. “Modi does not like experienced and knowledgeable leaders like Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar. That is why he is denying special status to AP, though it is not difficult for him to grant the same. He does not want to give any mileage to Naidu,” he observed.
