YSR Congress Cadre Feeling Neglected and Ignored

A large number of party cadres in the ruling YSR Congress are not happy with the leadership these days. They have been feeling neglected and ignored in the last four years as they have not been involved in any of the government programs.

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and his team have taken charge of every welfare or development program, leaving no scope for the involvement of the cadre, who play a crucial role in garnering votes for the party.

The cadre meets people, helps them get things done, and builds better relationships with them, which in turn helps the party during elections.

However, the ruling party's political programs have not involved the cadre, and no one knows who is designing them.

Programs like "Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam," "Nuvve Maa Nammakam Jagan," or "Jaganannaku Chepudam" look impressive from the top, but they are disastrous as the cadre is not actively participating in them or their participation is not sincere.

The party supremo has not held interactive meetings with the party cadre in the last four years, except for a few brief meetings in a few Assembly constituencies.

In addition, the party has not provided a platform for the cadre to voice their grievances or take their views into account when designing new programs.

As a result, the cadre does not feel ownership of the programs, as they have not been involved in their design or execution.

Therefore, it is high time that the think tank of the YSR Congress come up with a program exclusively for the cadre or with the involvement of the cadre before the state goes for the next round of elections.

Unless this is done, it will be difficult for the party to expect the cadre to work during elections.
