Who Started R K Beach Campaign First?

The campaign for holding a massive rally at Rama Krishna Beach in Visakhapatnam on January 26 demanding special category status to Andhra Pradesh on the lines of Jallikattu movement at Marina beach in Chennai, is catching up like wildfire.

Hashtags like #APDemandsSpecialStatus and ‘#APSelfRespectMoment have been trending on social media for the last two days. And already thousands of people, including students have responded positively and declared that they would attend the rally.

And several actors, particularly heroes from mega family like Sai Dharam Teja and Varun Tej, besides Nikhil and Sundeep Kishan, have responded positively to the call and announced that they would take part on the Visakhapatnam rally on January 26.

But nobody is able to figure out how and when this campaign started and who was the first person who gave the call for the Vizag beach rally on January 26.

Everybody thought it was power star and Jana Sena party president Pawan Kalyan who had given the call, but a close look at his tweets shows that he has only extended support to the R K Beach rally.

So is the case with YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who said his party would fully support the beach rally. The Pratyeka Hoda Sadhana Samithi also extended its support to Vizag beach rally. So far, no organiser has come forward to take permission from the police.

It means, there is no specific organiser for the Visakhapatnam beach rally. It is not clear who would take the lead and make arrangements. If people and party activists come on their own without any specific plan of action, it would lead to chaotic situation.

And there is every possibility that anti-social elements might take advantage of the situation and create troubles. And ultimately, parties would blame each other if there is law and order problem!
