Voting in favour of Telugu Desam Party would be of no value, especially in the Telangana region where it would never come to power at any point of time.
This was the opinion expressed by Bhongir MP Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy. He accused TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu of enacting dramas on Social Telangana only for votes and seats. He also questioned the TDP chief as to why he did not say that chief minister post would be given to a BC during the united Andhra Pradesh.
Rajagopal Reddy said the party workers would spare no efforts for achieving party victory in the ensuing general elections.
He said they would work hard for the victory of candidates nominated by the high command and to express their gratitude to party supremo Sonia Gandhi for granting statehood to the Telangana region.
The sitting MP also exuded confidence that people in the Telangana region would elect Congress candidates in municipal, Assembly and Lok Sabha elections as they know that social Telangana will be possible only through the Congress.
