The TDP's decision to invite Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to the new capital ceremony will be the ultimate insult to the pride of the Andhras.
Have they forgotten already the derogatory references made to the Andhra people by KCR and Co, repeatedly in the past decade?
Saying that he will kick the Andhra people out of Telangana, KCR encouraged the destruction of statues on Tank Bund of prominent Andhra personalities apart from goading students to manhandle Andhra lecturers who had gone to Hyderabad for valuation purpose.
How can such an evil person be present on such an auspicious occasion? Is the TDP so lacking in self-respect that it has already forgotten the insults heaped on Andhras by KCR?
Inviting KCR is like India inviting Jinnah for its Independence Day celebrations. People of Andhra will never look upon KCR with favor and political parties would do well to recognize and honor this sentiment.
