Government Chief Whip Gandra Venkataramana Reddy on Thursday slammed Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for belittling Telangana women Ministers when they tried to prevent his convoy.
Gandra attributed the Delhi incident that led minister Geetha Reddy to weep inconsolably as police resorted to excesses at AP Bhavan at the behest of Kiran Kumar Reddy.
He expressed concern over failure of Kiran and PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana to prevent the police from trying to attack Geetha Reddy.
Condemning the incident and expressing surprise over Botsa, who used to speak in favor of Telangana, had also joined “Silent Protest” at Delhi.
“If I was in his place, I would have got down and convince them politely to pave way. But Kiran failed to do so and instead behaved in a rude manner. He also criticized the CM for charting a special flight for his Seemandhra friends to attend the protest against bifurcation”.
