TGO leader Srinivas Goud alleges that he was denied the minister’s post due to intervention by some leaders from upper castes. Though his post was more or less confirmed, some leaders did not want him to be a part of the cabinet as he belongs to backward caste.
Speaking during the birthday celebrations of Jyothirao Phule, Srinivas Goud disclosed his thoughts. But it was interesting to note that he promised that he will soon list out all those who had stopped him from becoming a minister.
He also alleged that he was under mental stress for the past 10 months as the same leaders were instrumental in stopping his name appearing in publications carrying stories about those who fought for the cause of a separate Telangana state.
While his allegations do seem far-fetched, it is indeed true that KCR had promised minister’s post to Srinivas Goud. However, eventually, he had to be content with the post of a cabinet secretary.
