New Delhi: When Rahul Gandhi once came to Hyderabad for a Congress plenary, he was introduced to the famous ‘Hyderabadi Biryani’ of ‘Paradise’.
It was love at first taste for the scion of the Gandhi family. So, when he went to AP Bhavan recently with his nephew, he expressed his wish to have ‘Hyderabadi Biryani’ again.
Although the biryani in Delhi is not on par with the one in Hyderabad, the Gandhis still found it delicious.
Seeing the whole episode, a wisecrack commented, “The BJP rule is like Paradise biryani whereas the Congress rule was ordinary biryani.”
The irony is that when the Congress was in power, Rahul had no time to visit AP Bhavan. Now when he visits AP Bhavan, there is none waiting to meet him.
