TDP meetings at party headquarters NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad are known for party chief Chandrababu Naidu's punch dialogues against TRS chief KCR.
Normally, Babu is known for delivering punch dialogues in TTDP meetings such as "KCR, I will sleep in your heart" (KCR, nee gundello nidra potha), "TDP will return to power in Telangana in 2019", "I will stay put in Hyderabad to see TDP coming to power in Telangana."
However, the TTDP meeting held at the same venue after several months on Saturday and that too attended by party chief N Chandrababu Naidu went on without any fireworks or punch dialogues and the meeting simply started and ended to anybody's notice.
Even the newspapers and news channels that strongly support TDP and Naidu found nothing to report and was carried insignificantly.
TTDP leaders who were upbeat at Babu attending their meeting after several months initially remained shell-shocked after hearing Naidu's speech in which he did not uttered a single word against KCR that too at a time when crucial GHMC elections are to be held in two months.
They quipped later that it would had been better had Naidu skipped the meeting which would have given scope for TTDP leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Revenath Reddy, L Ramana, Mothkupalli Narsimhulu etc to launch a scathing attack on KCR which would have got enough coverage in media.
What frustrated the TTDP leaders the most was Naidu openly conveying his inablility to launch a tirade against KCR by saying that as CMs of neighbouring states, they both would cooperate with each other at government-level and as party leaders you have to fight against KCR and TRS.
TTDP leaders opine that Naidu is yet to come out of "Amaravati hangover" wherein he invited KCR who promptly turned up which resulted in 'new found love' between the two.
