All the bada babus from the Andhra Pradesh cadre have been keeping their fingers crossed over the imminent shift from Hyderabad to Vijayawada.
However, there was some solace to them when Chandra Babu rebuilt his house and many thought that things will go at a slow pace. In fact, some of them were happy that they would retire before having to shift to Vijayawada.
But looks like now they will have no choice. As per reports from TDP, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu's wife Bhuwaneswari has decided to move her base to Vijayawada from next week.
So this means that Chandra Babu will have to follow her to the new capital that is still a long way from being developed into a world-class city.
Meanwhile, while the senior cadre of IAS and IPS officers may have no trouble shifting once the new capital is complete, they are not very keen to shift their base to Vijayawada in a hurry. But at the way things are going, they could be going there any time soon.
