Naidu leads a reverse walk to Assembly

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s back office is creative as it comes out with creative and innovative ideas to keep Naidu in the limelight, particularly when he is in opposition.

As stated earlier by Minister K Kanna Babu, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is truly media made leader.

He makes sure that media is around him for every event that he undertakes or ensures he is around the media.

On Monday, when the winter session of the Assembly was convened, Chandrababu Naidu led his party MLAs and MLCs in a procession to the House.

He walked in reverse along with his men as a mark of protest against the reverse tendering of the government in various contracts.

The State government is flying high with the reverse tendering policy by claiming to have saved over Rs 1600 crore to the government.

Ironically for the TD, most of the TDP-backed contractors were losing the contracts causing huge loss to them and saving considerable amount to the government.

In an attempt to display the displeasure of this loss, the TDP chief had led his party leaders in a backward walk (reverse walk) to the Assembly from the fire station.

With Friday’s bitter experience, where Naidu and his son abused the Assembly security staff by attempting to enter the fourth gate, Chandrababu Naidu entered the Assembly from the designated Gate II, to avoid further controversy with the security personnel.
