Fact Sheet: They Feed On Character Assassination

The mainstream Telugu media is known for character assassination of the rivals.

The media houses feed on themselves by intensive campaign against the rivals of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.

They have been doing it on Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for more than a decade.

The Telugu media tried to project Jagan as a faction leader, corrupt businessman, political dictator and have given all negative shades to lower his image.

They created an allegation that Jagan had robbed Rs 1 lakh crore and is being accused in the CBI and ED cases.

They made people to believe it and campaigned all through.

But, people did not believe them and instead, they have given him unquestionable mandate in 2019 general elections.

They are now doing the same on BJP leaders, once it is confirmed that all doors of BJP are closed and sealed for Chandrababu Naidu.

Having failed to move even one inch against Jagan, the media and Chandrababu Naidu are targeting the BJP leadership linking the party with Jagan.

If the media reports for the past two days are any indication, the TDP and its Telugu media is now focusing on mudslinging of the BJP along with Jagan.

Look at the news report that two BJP leaders from AP have indulged in Rs 30 crore scam.

If this scam occurred two years ago, what were they doing since then and why were they silent? Why did they not exposed this scam since the day it happened?

It is not the BJP’s corruption that bothers the Telugu media. It is the closure of all gates for Chandrababu Naidu for tie-up once again, which made them to write it now.

Though no one will support the BJP, particularly in the light of the scam as claimed by the media, Telugu people are wise enough to understand the political games of Chandrababu and his media.

The scam news is nothing but a blackmail tactic of this particular media house to malign the party’s image as it tried on Jagan Mohan Reddy in the past.

For Naidu and his media, “You can’t fool all the people all the time” adage doesn’t apply. They fool people and end up becoming a laughing stock in Jagan’s case.
