Zee Group bought the entire rights of Sai Dharam Tej’s upcoming release “Solo Brathuke So Better” for a huge price. Producer BVSN Prasad made a good profit from this deal.
Directed by newcomer Subbu, “Solo Brathuke So Better” has wrapped up its entire shooting part recently to release the film for Dussera or Deepavali time.
Zee TV group has snapped up the rights of theatrical, digital, direct OTT, satellite, and Plex rights. The group has a ZEE5 streaming app as well as ZEE Plex, pay for view service.
The channel wanted to release the movie on Plex first and then OTT skipping the theatrical method.
The group was planning to announce these details next week. However, it has changed the plans now as the theaters are re-opening from October 15.
In a month, the theatrical business is expected to be back to normal. Hence, Zee Group is rethinking about the theatrical option.
The film may now hit the screens. The final decision has not taken yet though.
