Producers' Guild to Meet KCR

Producers' Guild to Meet KCR

Hyderabad is slowly coming back to normalcy after relaxations have been given. Unless there is a sudden spike of cases, the city will slowly reopen to all the activity by June 1st.

Shops and business establishments have already been opened but restrictions on restaurants, malls, and cinema theaters are continuing.

But Telugu movie producers are planning to resume the shootings from the first week of June.

Talasani Srinivas Yadav, minister for cinematography, is not promising anything since he has limited powers. Hence, the Active Producers’ Guild has decided to meet Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to request allowing shootings with a restricted crew.

In Hollywood, only two films have resumed shooting by taking a lot of precautions like hiring doctors on the sets, maintaining physical distancing, and limiting the crew members.

Tollywood producers are also going to submit a proposal to CM how they would take protocols of COVID19.

Will CM KCR grant permission to resume the shootings? So far, states like Tamilnadu and Kerala have allowed the producers to begin post-production work.
