Netflix Bags Miss India for Rs 10 Cr!

Netflix Bags Miss India for Rs 10 Cr!

With the coronavirus pandemic is not showing any signs of an end, Telugu producers are selling off movies to the OTT platforms. Nani’s “V” has opened the flood gates.

Keerthy Suresh’s “Miss India” is set to stream on OTT directly in the coming months, skipping the theatrical window.

Industry buzz is that the film’s producer has already closed a deal with Netflix for a whopping Rs 9.5 crore plus GST.

This is a good deal considering Keerthy Suresh’s other Tamil film, ‘Penguin’, has failed to win good appreciation.

Netflix will announce the slate shortly. Producer Mahesh Koneru may make a decent profit on this project from satellite rights.

Directed by newcomer Narendra Nath, the film has music by Thaman and it was slated to release in March this year but couldn’t do so due to the pandemic.
