Rajamouli's costume drama has set the bar too high for Telugu movies to reach in the near future. Only Rajamouli's #RRR looks capable enough to challenge the Baahubali Telugu version's records.
Meanwhile, all other top tier heroes are fighting for 'third' place, which is now called as 'Non-Baahubali' record by the trade.
Besides Rajamouli's phenomenal achievements and benchmarks, Non-Baahubali space is dominated by Mega family heroes from a long time.
First it was Chiranjeevi who breached the Rs. 100 Cr share mark after Baahubali movies to set a Non-Baahubali record and his son Ram Charan bettered it with Rangasthalam.
Later Chiranjeevi's period drama Sye Raa Telugu version has collected more than Rangasthalam but had fell way short of Baahubali movies.
Prabhas was able to get there but only when its Hindi version collection is taken into consideration.
Now, Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has once again shown the mega power at the Telugu box office. All the three films that are next to Baahubali movies are from mega heroes only. Tarak and Mahesh are not into the top 5 list at the moment.
Mahesh's Sarileru Neekevvaru will end up at sixth place with a wide gap between it and the fifth placed Rangasthalam.
