Natural Star Nani is betting big on his yet to be launched film Shyam Singha Roy.
He has great belief in the script penned by Taxiwala fame Rahul Sankrityan that he has decided to do it as his immediate project after Tuck Jagadish.
He didn’t budge even after the producer backed off from bankrolling SSR. He made sure that the project is on course by handing over the project to another producer.
Nani is reportedly kicked about playing one of the characters (dual role) for which he needs to go for a complete makeover.
If the buzz is to be believed, the film is based on reincarnation theme that has proved to be a major success in the history of Telugu Cinema.
Rajamouli had scored huge blockbusters with Magadheera and Eega that were based on the same theme.
This project needs to be made on a higher budget than Nani’s regular movies, which is why the initial producer has backed off.
However, Nani believes it is worth the risk to bet on this movie that has a proven formula as well as give him a chance to do something different from the usual stuff. Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty have been roped into play the female leads.
