Akhil Akkineni is a happy man now. He heaved a sigh of relief with last week’s release “Shaadi Mubarak” turning into a box-office failure.
The film won fairly decent reviews but the collections were not up to the mark.
Starring TV star RK Sagar in the lead role, “Shaadi Mubarak” is a romantic drama that talks about an unlikely romance between an NRI groom and a Hyderabad girl.
When the team of Akhil’s “Most Eligible Bachelor” had learned that their film has similarities with “Shaadi Mubarak”, they got panicked.
Producer Allu Aravind made the director reshoot some portions. He also pushed the film to June. However, Akhil Akkineni must be relieved to see the result of “Shaadi Mubarak”.
As the film didn’t bring audiences to the theaters, Akhil Akkineni will not have any issue.
