Even before the release of Geetha Govindam, director Parasuram had taken advances to the tune of nearly Rs 4 to 5 crore from producers saying he would do his next film with them.
And this list includes Geetha Arts, Mythri Movie Makers, Manchu family etc.
But after the success of Geetha Govindam, he is still collecting advances with the tagline, “My next film is with you.”
One good thing for Parasuram is that he has a stake in the profits of Geetha Govindam, so ultimately he will end up with around Rs 5 crore from the film’s revenues with which he can return the advances to various producers and decide on one single project. But the key thing here is : ‘If he returns the advances’.
All this money might come in handy if he enters a bad phase and he can use the money then to fulfill his commitments.
Seems to be not only creative but street smart as well.
