There is a new gossip that is making rounds in the industry. It seems that Mahesh Babu is angry with Dil Raju.
F3 was released after two weeks of Sarkaru Vaari Paata release. Dil Raju worked on increasing ticket prices or getting permission for flexible rates in Naizam region until the release of Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
But suddenly for F3 he announced a reduction in ticket prices. Someone carried the news to Mahesh that these reduced prices for F3 damaged the run of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. There is a widespread opinion that the middle class family audience have shown their affinity to F3 due to lesser ticket prices when compared to that of SVP.
The Naizam distributor of Sarkaru Vaari Paata is none other than Dil Raju. It worked on the non returnable advance of Rs 29 Cr and the GST was paid by the producer. So, SVP has seen its breakeven by the release of F3.
Industry sources say that SVP stopped its run at Rs 28 Cr, though the figures are boasted in a big way.
Due to F3, even the ticket rates for Major were also reduced forcibly for which Mahesh is one of the producers. The strategy followed by 'Major' was that the ticket prices were kept lesser than that of F3.
This entire episode made Mahesh Babu develop anger on Dil Raju as per the sources.
