But the way the producers of his film are going overboard in publicising the final figures has led to some controversy in the industry.
Recently, the producers had sent a press release where they claimed that the film has grossed Rs 154 crores and got a market share of Rs 95 crores.
The release had got many industry insiders wondering as to why the producers are going to such great lengths to project numbers as the film is already a confirmed hit and has broken quite a few records.
Unfortunately, such false claims are impacting the image of Mahesh who likes to keep a low profile and go about his job.
In the past, producers of Dookudu too inflated box office figures and till now, they haven't been able to shrug off the tag of exaggerating figures.
