Astounding response for Y V Subba Reddy meet in Dallas

It was proved yet again that Dallas is the epicenter for people who think welfare of Telugu people. A meet that brought people across all walks of life at one place. The meet that reminded that borders are beyond human relation.

Over 250 people converged at Ruchi Palace in Carrollton showing oneness. Their single agenda – welfare of Telugus across globe. Their leader Y.V. Subba Reddy. It was the day of Vijayadashami and true to the intent of the festival, people celebrated as a community!

The event began with lighting candles in respect towards the departed great leader Dr. Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy. Mr. Raman Reddy Kristapati outlined the astounding accomplishments made by beloved departed leader Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

Over 100 candles were lit by community leaders and fans of YSR. Slogans of YSR reverberated the air. Raman Reddy Kristapati later welcomed Krishna Reddy Koduru to preside the event. Krishna Reddy Koduru welcomed M.P of Ongole constituency Hon’ble. Y.V. Subba Reddy and Ex. M.P from Nizamabad Sri. Atmacharan Reddy onto the dais.

Dr. Pratap Reddy Tummala facilitated Atmacharan Reddy with a bouquet. In his opening remarks Sri. Atmacharan Reddy reminded that YSR is the only leader who had the combination of smile, perfect dress-code and behavior in the whole country. Recalling the fond affection he carried with YSR and trusted confidence that Y.S. Jagan will carry the legacy of late YSR.

Subba Rao of Dallas suggested that YSR is the only leader who stood by his words in successfully implementing welfare schemes and no other leader matched the charisma of the departed leader. Dr. Pavan Pamadurti found fault in hurriedly declaring the capital of Andhra Pradesh and felt there should have been a proper exercise prior to announcing the capital. Pramod Reddy Prodduturi of DATA claimed the DNA of YSR family is sacrifice, welfare and not what others claim to be. Mahesh Adibhatla speaking on the occasion mentioned that Telangana now being a reality requested the M.P to ensure YSRCP has its presence in Telangana in the form of Y.S. Jagan and Y.S. Sharmila and wished the people on the occasion of Dussehra.

Ajay Reddy addressing the crowd mentioned his association with Atmacharan Reddy and expressed that YSR’s greatest strength was his word of promise and would fulfill any promise that he gave and recalled the memories of YSR’s trip to Dallas in 2002 as the opposition leader. Later a moment of silence was observed respecting the departed leader YSR. Srinivas Reddy Gurram speaking on the occasion welcomed Hon’ble. Y.V. Subba Reddy to Dallas and trusted the party’s actions and directions to be fruitful in both Telugu states. KC Chekuri hoped and wished that the MP from Ongole will work towards the welfare of the people of the district.

Vijaymohan Kakarla, president Telugu Association of North Texas (TANTEX) requested the M.P to consider making “Ongole Gitta” the official animal of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Ramsurya Reddy recollected how YSR was able to satisfy all sections of people in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing the crowd Y.V. Subba Reddy wished a happy Vijayadashami and Bathukamma to the Telugus across the globe. He expressed the Telugus to live in harmony and brotherhood. He opined that YSRCP party wished the two Telugu states to grow in unison and that the party is working towards the same intention. He expressed confidence that the days are not far when the heritage of YSR is bound to be back the torchbearer to that will be none other than Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy amidst thunderous applause and constant cheering. He thanked all enthusiastic crowd for sacrificing their festival and coming over the meet and greet occasion.

Dr. Sridhar Korsapati thanked Hon’ble Y.V. Subba Reddy for visiting Dallas and presented a Texas cowboy hat to the Hon’ble MP.

Among others present during the meet and greet were Pratap Bhimreddy, Madhu Mallu, Srinivas Bavireddy, Srinivas Adda, Subba Rao Karusala, Mahendar Kamireddy, Raj Gondhi, Jaychandra Reddy, Ramana Potluri, Janakiram Mandadi, Raghuveer Bandaru, Venkat Narpala, Narsimha Reddy Urimindi, Subbu Jonnalagadda, Krishna Uppalapati, Balki Chamkura, Raja Reddy, Bhaskara Reddy, Narayana Reddy, Vishnu Batthula, Samba Dodda, Lokesh Naidu, Satish Bandaru, Satish Bommineni, Ravi Kona, Uma Mahesh, Uma Kurri, Sudhakar Reddy, Subbu Damireddy, Dr. Rami Reddy Buchipudi.

Raman Reddy later thanked the crowd for being part of the event, media personnel DesiPlaza, TV9, TV5 and 6 TV for covering the event and Ruchi Palace management for providing the venue.
